Richard Dumford, Partner/CEO

Richard (Rich) covers the Midwest and New England states out of the corporate office in Middletown, Ohio near Cincinnati.

With a BSBA degree from Xavier University, he followed a career path giving him a strong background in commercial building design, scheduling and construction project management. Prior to founding the company he was VP at Ahart & Associates Consulting Engineers, heading up the crital path scheduling department responsible for many multi-million dollar projects including the 44 story Chicago CNA Plaza Office Complex, Indiana State University's Student Union addition and renovation project, and Ohio Salt Fork State Park lodge and cabin complex. In 1996, Rich founded Richard, Incorporated (now Dumford & Moore) for the sole purpose of serving the hospitality renovation industry.

William Dumford, Managing Partner

William (Bill) is responsible the successful completion of all projects in the West and Southwest states. He works from Dumford & Moore's office in Mission Viejo, California.

After attending the University Of Dayton, Bill went on to a successful career as a commercial and institutional general contractor in Ohio and later Southern California. Prior to joining Dumford & Moore, he was president and CEO of the Building Group, a general contracting and consulting firm located in Southern California. His clients included the California School District, the University Of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Pepperdine University.

Douglas Moore, Managing Partner

Douglas (Doug) handles our projects in the Mid-Atlantic and Southern states from his office in Emerald Isle, North Carolina. Doug travels to job sites as required on a weekly basis to meet with clients and advise our on-site supervisors.

Doug graduated from Arizona State University with a major in Civil Engineering and a minor in Construction Management. Upon graduating, he began his career of more than thirty years managing large, multi-million dollar commercial, industrial and institutional projects across the country. He joined Dumford & Moore in 2006.
